Hello...

I need a screen recorder for Minecraft that works with little to no lag, no trials, no watermarks, and is completely FREE!

Thank you for your answers :)

You could try this http://camstudio.org/

It is very good for a free piece of software that can record games with little lag.
If you didn't know this already, when recording a game such as Minecraft and it lags a lot, it might not be the recorder, it might just be YOUR COMPUTER! Post you're specs and I will tell you if you will lag. Another thing, one alternative is a capture card. Plug a HDMI cable from your PC into the imput of the capture card and another HDMI cable in to your monitor. Then a USB cable would go to ANOTHER computer that is DECENT and would record from there. Here is a capture card https://www.google.co.uk/url?sa=t&rct=j&q=&esrc=s&source=web&cd=1&cad=rja&uact=8&ved=0CDEQFjAA&url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.hauppauge.co.uk%2Fsite%2Fproducts%2Fdata_hdpvr2-gaming.html&ei=TyZUU6LDELOX0AWerYDQAQ&usg=AFQjCNFWEPT-SsPPPhRjdhS233Oe12LJ7A&sig2=8Lc27GBm3hH4B7PPa-5kvA&bvm=bv.65058239,d.d2k

You should be able to find a video on YouTube to find out how to set one up.

Hope this helps!

There is no game capture recorder software optimized for Minecraft (but I used to be searching the exact thing a few years ago because my previous laptop I was using was really bad for high-end gaming, how silly am I...), and if you experienced lags while recording Minecraft, it's more possible that it's your PC specs problem (I also do experienced this with Fraps free trail while recording Minecraft, while in Source Engine-based games there are no FPS loss).

You can record gameplay footage with MSI afterburner just like with Fraps. No need for external capture cards. Or at least that's how it worked couple of months ago if they haven't changed something during this time then it's the same.

With camstudio it adds "freerecorders.com" in blue text into the bottom right corner of your video, it's very anoying when you want to make professional videos.
-It can only record the sounds picked up by your laptopmicrophone; no option to record the system audio with an external device.
-I also got poor framerate when I tried recording with the default settings.
-It doesn't capture your full screen, when you extend the box, you can't select your windows toolbar. That's very anoying when you want to use it in a tutorial. You can fix it by placing your windows taskbar at the left or right of your window.
This is my solution, use VLC as screen capture software, you can choose your audio recording and it solves all the others problems. Watch the video to see how it works:
