Upgradin my mobo. Suggestions?

Hi all

So I have decided to upgrade my motherboard since my current one is a bit old and I am not able to run BF4 on high/ultra settings.

Manufacturer: Foxconn
Model: A7VMX-K
PCI-E Express
Max Supported: x16
Link width: x1
AM2+
4GB RAM

GPU:
4GB Gigabyte Radeon R9 270x

CPU:
AMD Phenom ii x4 965

I have read that the recommended requirements for BF4 is 8GB RAM.

My budget would be around 50-70 pounds.

It will help. But you should be able to run BF4 at highest settings with your 270X GPU. That GPU get's really hot and may be throttling down to compensate. Maybe there is something else going on? CPU might be bottle necking the GPU some too. The 965 CPU is not able to follow a lot of the newer instructions.

I cant run it on the highest settings...just medium-high. I'm planning to upgrade my CPU and mobo with a bundle. any suggestions? under 200pounds
