Premiere Pro not utilizing GPU

Hello,

So, I just laid down over $300 on an NVidea GeForce GTX 770 with the hopes that it would help me accelerate my workflow in Premiere Pro CC. I did a lot of research and discovered that the latest Premiere updates allow you to utilize gaming cards like this rather than shelling out an extra grand for a workstation card. Here is what I bought:

http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00ENZRQ5U/ref=oh_details_o01_s00_i00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

As I'm running some demanding playback tasks, with an eye on the load being put on my GPU in Open Hardware monitor, I'm seeing that the GPU is barely being utilized, while the CPU is still getting choked and playback is stuttering. Am I missing something on the Driver end? I downloaded the latest driver directly from the NVidea site. Any help here would be... well... helpful. Thanks everyone!

Hello Charlie,

as I have never used this software I'm not sure what options it offers in its settings tab but if there is a way to select it to utilize CUDA or OpenCL you should select CUDA as your card is nVidia.

P.S. Don't laugh too much if what I said was stupid ;)

You have to unlock it , like the article explains that i have posted i did it last night

As I explained, the update no longer requires you to add it to the list in cc. It'll have a popup informing you it's not on the list but can still be enabled. It does this for every session so I would still add it. You don't need the download anything. Just copy the same format as the other listed gpus.
