Wrong motherboard help

Hi there

Builing my first pc.

Im not sure on whether i bought the wrong fan for my motherboard.

Trying to connect an Asus A88x-pro motherboard to a Coolermaster Hyper 212 Evo Fan. Are these two compatiable? Sorry, im a noob at this stuff.

According to the Coolermaster web siteThe cooler should be compatible with AMD Socket: FM2+ / FM2 / FM1 / AM3+ / AM3 / AM2+ / AM2.

Your board is FM2+

It should work.
