All right, I'm ready to buy this thing, but I have one last question. Here is the build for reference:

I know that the noctua nh-d14 comes with a y-splitter cable, so I was going to use that to connect two of the case fans to the same header. Will they still be able to run at full power even though they're sharing a header? Also, the motherboard has a cpu fan header and alternate cpu fan header, so I could just hook one noctua fan to each of those instead of using the splitter, right? Thanks in advance.

Solution
The Noctua splitter supplied with my fan was a 4-pin splitter that was pre-wired for single fan read, 4-wire, and secondary fan was 3 wire pwm controlled, so if you use the splitter supplied with the D14, its probably the same splitter I have, so even though you have 2 fans on the same header, pwm will only read 1 fan speed, yet control both. What will make a difference is what fan you set as primary.

EDIT: Nice build btw.

Yes, I'm going to put each CPU cooler fan on its own header. I also found out that a header supplies 1A, which is more than enough for two fans. My new question is: because I have two fans on the same header, will the motherboard think that the fans are going twice as fast as they really are because it's getting a pulse from both? If so, would it be okay to just cut the third wire on one side of the y-splitter, or would that cause problems?

Thank you so much. In that case I'll put the two noctua fans on the two cup fan headers, put three of the case fans on three case fan headers, and then use the Y-splitter that comes with the noctua to put the other two case fans on the last header.
