How to disable xHCI from A08 BIOS

I am trying to disable xHCI from my BIOS I can't find it, I am currently using a alienware laptop m17x R2. Please help

Why do you want to disable it? AHCI is significantly better and everything supports it.

Most newer laptops won't let you...

It doesn't let my computer recognize usb devices or at least that is what I have read so for about my issue with this usb device

Hmm.

You might be able to do it in software. Not sure.

It looks like xHCI is only intended for systems with USB3.0, so I'm not sure why you're having issues with it.
