I just built a completely new computer except I kept my old hard drive. I now have 16GB of RAM but I see the following:

How do I fix this?

Make sure your RAM is on the same channel. The DIMMs are normally color codded.
The .06 of used RAM is modified RAM. That is normal. Windows uses a little bit for different things.
Available just means what is not in use. Virtual memory is your system using your hard drive as extra RAM.
Known as paging to your hard drive. The Available Virtual memory is how much paged disk space it not in use.
For the other 8GB not showing up may be uncompatible RAM. Make sure you have the same RAM.
Check and see if it is compatible with your system. Make sure the RAM is on the same channel.
Blowout the DIMM slots. Clean the RAM contacts. Your MOB may just be maxed out.
Some MOBs can only support 8GB. You can install bigger sticks, but it will only see some of it.
You can also run Memtest to see if your RAM is fine.

Happy computing! :)

This is a new build and the two RAM dims came in the same package. I don't believe I have any compatibility issues, but here are my specs:

Motherboard: Asus Sabertooth Z87 LGA 1150 Motherboard
CPU: Intel Core i7-4770K
CPU Cooler: Corsair H100i Liquid CPU Cooler
GPU: 2x EVGA GTX 780ti
RAM: Corsair Dominator Platinum 16GB (2x8GB) DDR3 1600 MHz
SSD: Samsung 840 Pro 256GB
PSU: Corsair Professional Series HX 1050 Watt
Case: Corsair Obsidian 750D

I installed them in the same color slots farthest from my CPU. I made sure they clicked down in place and were installed securely. Should I try and install them again?
