Hey guys, building a budget pc for gaming that I will expand upon later, I'm not running super graphic intense games so it shouldn't be an issue.

Here's all the components I don't have that I'm getting, I already have a GTX 760 and a disk drive so no worry with those.

Here's it with the GTX 760 and some random disk drive.

On budget I'd suggest getting the fx-6300 and get decent mobo like the one I suggested. Then, one day you will learn how to overclock and with the fx-6300 you'll easily reach 4.5GHz; which is a big jump from stock speed.

How to lower the price? Not really much you can do there. You could shave off $10 or $20, but this build is very solid and will allow for anything you need.

However, this PSU is excellent quality, enough power, and semi-modular which is great to have.

this one is 60 dollars more than yours but it has a 6 core processor and upgrade path to a 8350 with a board with proper power phases and vrm cooling. the socket that you have selected is the best cpu you can get on that board socket. if you need better performance you would have to upgrade the motherboard with processor again. i also changed the psu because the cx series is not good anyways and it will not support a 760. if nothing else you need to change your psu. changed the ram because the g skill set was cheaper

the power supply is low for a gaming rig put in a good 650w unit so you can add a larger gpu latter on or upgrade your rig without any issues. for cases look at the one i listed on cosair r200 case. there made for gamers on a budject that want to add long gpus into small cases.

How much is the r200 case. I'm trying to keep the price low.

This system will allow you to run the 760 and in the future you can buy a good CPU cooler and get a great overclock = boost in performance.

Will this motherboard do well? I'd rather have one with SLI for later but meh. Yes I removed case cause I just bought it.

i wouldnt recommend it, its power phase is 4+1 and now vrm cooling. you will have problems with that board. the one i listed above has 8+2 power phasing and proper vrm cooling and support for up to a 8350 down the road and is only 20 dollars more
