I am building a gaming pc and would like to confirm that the parts I wish to purchase are compatible and are decent parts.

Here is my list:

Yes they are all compatible but that motherboard is a mini ATX I dont really think it matters but to be safe I would change the mobo to something like the MSI Z87-G45 Gaming and that build is pretty good. Another thing you could do is go to PC part picker, it tells you if parts are compatible

If you ARE planning on Overclocking, I can't really see much wrong with that build, you even went up to a 770 from the 760 you had listed before.

If you don't think you will, then you can probably shift your money around a bit more. In the end it's all about what YOU like, anything I suggest would be based on my opinions.

The benefits of overclocking are that you can push your hardware's performance further, getting a little more bang for your buck as it were, I intend on looking into it when I finally get around to my first build, and for overclocking I like the look of what you've put together (even if I would change the GPU for a Gigabyte Windforce because I think they look mean)

If I was on your budget with no intentions of overclocking I think I would look at something more like this:

I changed up the Ram for a 2 slot kit with a faster speed and better latency than the one you picked, changed up the GPU to a 4GB Gigabyte Windforce because you have the space and I think it looks wicked.
Changed the case down to a 200R because it's a bit cheaper and gets you pretty much what you are looking for except the front mesh, which personally I think it's only REALLY worth doing if you want to flash some LED fans through there, otherwise cooling should be just as easy.
Dropped the CPU down to a 4440 which I don't think is too much of a difference from the 4670K unless you do plan on pushing it. It would only be about $20 more than that for a 4570 but the difference from the 4440 is even more negligible.

Otherwise, I think you have done great. I would like to note that I am not an expert and just someone who is fascinated, so I don't want to influence your decision, just offer you some ideas. This forum is great, so I'm sure more knowledgeable users can offer you some ideas and also scrutinize what I have suggested.

I'd love to keep discussing your build and options if you wish since it spurs me on to read and learn more about your choices which is a thrill for me and I do hope I can help you find a build YOU will be happy with :)

Edit: I also put in a cheaper, slightly higher Wattage PSU, since it seemed you were paying the price for it to be Semi Modular, which I wouldn't really say is an issue with a case the size you are looking at using. Again, it all comes down to what you want, and I am only hear to offer ideas and hopefully learn a bit more through the discussion on the tech, as well as shaping build suggestions to what the poster wants.
