Thoughts on upgrade?

Hey!

I am planning an upgrade on my build. Right now, the below are my specs..

Current Specs:
Mobo: ASUS M5A88-M AM3+
CPU: AMD Phenom II x4 964 Deneb Black Edition
HDD: 1TB Seagate ST31000528AS
RAM: 8GB G.Skill Sniper Series
GPU: 1GB MSI HD Radeon 7770 GHz Edition
PSU: Corsair CX80 500W Builders Series
Aftermarket CPU Cooler: Coolermaster Hyper Evo 212

I plan on upgrading the motherboard, graphics card, and processor. This is what I've come up with the help of some people from this website, but I'm unsure what to go with on the motherboard for the processor I chose.

http://secure.newegg.com/WishList/PublicWishDetail.aspx?WishListNumber=18659285

I don't plan on purchasing the water cooler any time soon, but I have it there for when I'm ready. The graphics card will be my last purchase but before the water cooler. I'm currently looking at only buying the motherboard and CPU as soon as possible.

What're your thoughts and what do you think I could change (if anything)? Also, can someone recommend me a proper case to fit the motherboard?

Thanks!

Already have the OS. Also, we already chatted on my other thread. I have no specific budget, but I don't want to be spending $200 on a motherboard. I just need a good one for the 990FX series CPU's you picked out for me and a proper case.

kept all on newegg, this mobo will suit you good it has 8+2 powerphase and proper vrm cooling for a 8core vishera up to a 8350 down the road
its also only 90 dollars it is the most reliable sub 100 dollar board, and the problem with running high tdp chips isnt the chipset like 990fx as you suggest. even some 990fx motherboards are without vrm cooling and poor power phase 4+1 like msi boards. so it isnt the chipsets per say.

Thanks for this. Would it be possible you find me a motherboard in the $120-$150 price range? Also, I'm only in need of a motherboard, CPU, and GPU. :p

I currently own the Deneb. The "Current Specs" is what my build is right now and I want to upgrade those 3 components. I updated my wishlist in the OP and I'm stumped which to go with. What do you think with the parts I have right now?

Nope, I'm not familiar with overclocking atm.
Nope, as long as it's a reputable place in the US that accepts PayPal.
Well, I feel like the Deneb is kinda out of date.. The Vishera has caught my eye.

If you want to check my wishlist in the OP, I have added the other mobo you suggested. Out of those 3, what do you think?

the motherboard i suggested either one will support a 8 core vishera.
the 750 ti is good but a 760 would be better if you can afford it
the 6 core vishera is good but of course the 8 core 8320/8350 would be better.
if your not overclocking you dont need a water cooler just get a hyper 212 evo

this would be a good upgrade

also if your not overclocking have you thought about going with intel? if your budget for all 3 is around 500 you could get a good intel build for beter gaming performance.

what you have in your wish list is good though
6300, fatality, 750ti
it would leave option for a 8 core vishera up to a 8350 and any graphics card you would want to pair with it

$400-$500?

Yeah, possibly. But I don't want that to affect the components you choose.

personally i would go with the intel 4670k better per core and single thread performance in gaming
when i say sli i do not mean with the 750 ti, you will need a 760 or higher to sli. intended for future upgrade paths
