hello i have a constant message popping up saying this device can perform a lot faster if its pluggedinto a USB port, however,we are not plugging anything in! theres nothing plugged in, the message comes up every few minutes. Its scaring me, is someone 'spying on me?' possibly? I have a supreme court battle , custody , ex brother in law is computer techie, im worried my computers been comprimised somehow?

That's probably either your mouse or keyboard, in my opinion. If it's connected in a USB port, you can be pretty sure that this is the cause.
