I am looking to upgrade the GPU and power supply in my pre-built Dell Inspiron 660 with Intel Core i5-4400 and 8GB RAM . Should I spend the extra $50 to get the 750 Ti/ R7 265, or should I just get the cheaper R7 260X. I'm going to start PC gaming and would like to know which graphics card is the best for games like BF4

Solution
I'd get the GTX 750 Ti, which would kepp you from having to buy a new power supply. This card is simply amazing with its 60W TDP. It was actually made for that kind of scenarios where people buy pre-built PCs and want to upgrade their PCs with a GPU later on, I think.

go with ATI at that price range if you do not care much about performance per watt consumed in electricity and you will gain about 20% better performance from ati at same cost i would also read this review http://www.extremetech.com/gaming/176785-nvidias-new-maxwell-powered-gtx-750-ti-is-hyper-efficient-quiet-a-serious-threat-to-amd if you want to know about differences in wattage and performance comparing all of those cards. You also mention BF4 it is more optimized to go with ATI card due to mantle you will get way more performance in that game from ATI.

Get the 750 ti. get the superclocked 2gb gddr5 version. I would advise going evga, their CS is aazing and warranty is legendary.

I run the 750 ti, and i play my games on max/ultra settings with amazing fps.

If Bf4 is a known target, get the 260x. It'll perform in modern games plus it has Mantle capabilities and TrueAudio.
