Hi, I am very lucky to have got the r9 290x lightning so early but due to this I have not found any settings anywhere which people use for mining with this card.

my system is a gaming/mining system, this is the reason I went with the 290x lightning and there is no possibility of changing out this graphics card anytime soon :D

I have not overclocked the card atall from its factory clock of 1080mhz core and 1250 MHz ram (5000mhz effective.)

my current settings for CGminer are
thread concurrency - 32456
vectors - 1
gpu threads - 1
worksize - 256
intensity - 20

830khash/s is low for any non-ref 290x and ive heard of 290s going above this!
I am very surprised about how low its hashing due to it being hands down the fastest r9 290x on the market. it even beats some 780ti's in benchmarks!

I would like to be looking at over one mhash/s ideally :D

any advice would be much apriciated! :)

Deren,

All of those miners have overclocked the cards memory to achieve those numbers, at stock settings on my sapphire tri-x , one's hitting about 857 the other 845. core 1010 mem 1250. I get in the 960's k/hash with a 1500 memory clock so Im really curious how the 290x lightning "1600"+ mem overclock preforms. I'd like to see one hit 1megahash as I would buy 4 of em, get rid of my classy ti and three trix's. Overclock to poo outa that memory and see at what point well you crash or that the hashing stops increasing due to increasing memory in steps. Goodluck!
