So i recently found out that my Amd Fx-9370 isn't supported with my motherboard. ive also been have lock ups and was wondering if the freezing problem is caused from my cpu not being supported. if anyone could please

also to get into more detail about the freezing what happens is my screen freezes and can't move the mouse and the computer lights and fans continue to stay active.

if I am missing anything please tell me :D

Thanks,

Yes, your board doesn't support the crazy high wattage that CPU requires (and very few boards do). You probably won't find a cheapish board that does because only high end boards have 220 watt support. I'll look around and let you know if i find something cheaper

No, I don't know of any AMD 970 chipset motherboards that support the FX-9370. These ASRock boards support it:
990FX Extreme9
Fatal1ty 990FX Professional

GIGABYTE GA-990FXA-UD3 REV 4.0 also is okay.
