R9 280x crossfire vs 7970 crossfire vs 770 sli

Solution
they are about the same. 770 is an oc 680 and 280x is a rebadged 7970. Both those gpu performed prettyy much the same. The 280x does have 3gb vram and without starting a huge debate at 1080p don't make a huge difference. Depends what you think about drivers. Generally nvidia do a better job. But neither are without issues.

Yep, they're all pretty close, the 770 SLI would be a bit more powerful as the 680 has a bit of an edge over the 7970 (280x) in most cases. AMD drivers are coming along, so none would be a bad decision from that standpoint.

Well...the crossfired R9 280x's are on the top of the graph...so i think my point still holds
