Completely confusing problem with new computer

Hi I have a computer that is 2 months old. Components are given below.

Windows 8.1 Pro 64-Bit
Intel i7 4770k
Asrock Z87 Extreme4
GSkill Ripjaws 2x4 GB [2133XMP] now at 1600 1.5V
Corsair TX650
Seagate 1TB Barracuda - Boot drive

I'll start from the very beginning. I had a HDD from my old computer, a samsung 250GB. I wanted to backup files from the 1TB Seagate to the Old 250GB which contained a windows 7 install and 2 more partitions. I connected them to the mobo, all connections were perfect, but it wouldnt show up in windows, disk management or anything. It would show up only in BIOS. A quick google led me to a forum post, where someone had the same issue, and ran windows memory diagnostic, and it showed up in windows. I thought wth, but still tried it and it worked. After the backup yesterday I wake up today and computer doesnt go past BIOS screen.

It powers down, so I turn it on again and it boots fine, although a little slowly. The third time, Nothing past BIOS. The fourth time, Boots into Windows.

Attempts 1,3,5.... DO NOT go past BIOS screen, 2,4,6... Boot into windows. This happens in a cycle..

This is what I've done.
1) Ran Memtest for 3 passes on each stick.
2) Ran Seatools for the 1TB HDD.
3) Removed the RAM and tried to boot, Mobo gave the "Memory missing" error code.
4) Reset BIOS Defaults and tried. Same thing.
5) Ran a full virus scan. All software on the computer is fully legit btw.
6) Ran a system restore to a previous date. Nope..
7) Checked voltages on PSU in BIOS, all okay.
8) Temperatures in the BIOS the same as my buddy who has the same computer.

To add to the problem, I tried to boot using the Samsung HDD and after BIOS, When the windows 7 animation with the 4 colour orbs shows up for 1 second, and says windows ran into a problem, and if I wanted to run startup repair or start normally. A normal start gets me back to the same "Windows ran into a problem" screen. Unlike windows 8.1, This never booted past this screen. I went into BIOS, change the SATA connector mode or something from ACHI to IDE, same problem. This was with the 250GB HDD only. Im right now backing up everything I need off the 1TB.

Okay Ive just realized, That at attempts 1,3,5.... After the asrock splash screen booting off the Seagate 1TB with the 8.1 Install, The windows 8.1 logo shows up for a split second before the computer shuts down again. I use the Windows 8.1 boot disc and try to run a startup repair, and it says it failed..

The only thing I have left to say is, HELP ME!

Hi
There are people with much more expertise on windows on here than me but as no one else has replied .
I suspect the problems with windows 7 on the Samsung is that being from an old computer it has different motherboard drivers and that this is causing it to fail.
If it was me I would back up everything I needed from the Seagate to the Samsung then I would format the Seagate and reinstall Windows 8.

Yeah the only thing I dont understand is that if its a software or hardware issue....
Im doing that as I speak. Thanks makkem.
I dont want to format it unless its the absolute last resort.
I hope someone has an idea why this is happening...

As makkem said; I am by no means knowledgeable on the subject, but if it IS a driver issue, then I saw a post on another thread say that DriverSweeper or something like that could remove your drivers for you which means you wouldn't need to format? Looking for the thread to check the name, get back to you if someone doesn't post the actual name first :)

Now I dont know which drivers are causing this, if it were the drivers in the first place :(
Im worried about the hardware and the data :(

I'll wait till I'm backed up though.

Solved it.
I went through a bunch of log files an realized it mentioned that allocated virtual memory was zero. I added page file to my C drive and BOOM Perfect boots.

For anyone out there with the same problem, try enabling page file if it isn't on by default.

Thanks makkem and Seeking Solace for the help :)

EDIT: Okay how do I mark this as the solution :p
