When I'm gaming the GHz speed of my cpu dropsfrom 3.8GHz down to 1.4GHZ and then jumps back up to 3.8GHZ. As well as this, the multiplier and the voltage drop and it is affecting my FPS in all of my games I would like to find a solution to this. My system specs are:

GPU-Sapphire Radeon 7870 HD GHz edition
CPU-FX 4130 3.8GHz
MOBO-Biostar A960D+
PSU- Coolermaster Elite Power 500w
RAM-8gb DDR3 1333Mhz

try increasing LLC (Load Line Calibration). this reduces the possibility of a vcore drop. this is usally must be increased when overcloclock to ensure stability. before you do that, what are your temps on idle and under load?safe temps are considered under 60C

well i dont exactly know where it is either! somewhere with voltage options i guess, also try disabling cool and quiet which normaly lowers voltages and clocks when cpu is idle or not doing demanding things. since you have good temps it wont be a problem but disabling it will surely increase them!
