The 760 will be fine for next-gen games...
It will max out BF 4 at 1080p...PS 4 runs it @ high 1600x900...
Your CPU will need upgrading though as optimizations for consoles are the strongest there and you may get some bottle-necking in newer games.

Of course it would, consoles doesn't even have GPU's, they have APU's with a built in cpu and gpu.

That thing right there is A LOT faster than any console you could think of, except for a steam machine.

No, hardware wise it is close to the PS4, and with the ps4's level of optimization it would preform better. At the 770-780 level you start to see a difference in graphics over next gen, but that would likely warrant a better cpu to run the card

Own that stuff myself, yep it's a lot faster. But there are other advantages to owning a pc over a console. We call it "freedom"

You have the ability to mod stuff, switch operatings systems. Having the ability to "create".

Basicly you will have a lot more control over your computer and it better for all types of stuff.

The ps4 will render bf4 at 60 fps at 1600x900, and scale it up to fill up a 1080 display. It will look better than computer running at 60hz native to 1080 at low settings.

You also would have to weigh the factor that consoles charge you ~50$ a year to use YOUR internet to play games you already paid for.
If you would be able to add a little more and get a 770/r9 280x/r9 290... Those would spank the ps4

I would save up for a better build than plan on upgrading soon. It's just more cost efficient. Electronic components lose about 40% of thier value atleast as used parts

It's really a question of games, you're comparing a gaming Console to a PC which is capable of a lot more i don't understand why people compare the two as if they're built for the same purpose. If PC doesn't have the games you want to play, get a PS4. If you have some good reasons to have a strong PC, then build a system.

I actually have a PS4 and it's simply for all the games i can't play on PC. Hardware wise, most peoples PC's will beat a PS4 and Xbox One, they're basically middle range APU based PC's. But again, there no point in all that horse power and no where to gallop, so PC might not be the best pick in the end.
