Increasing Vram on an apu?

hello,

i've recently bought a computer however , when i checked out my system specs i realised that i had about 84mb of vram allocated to my video card.

is it possible for me to increase this number?

If it is a desktop you can just add a graphics card which will make it substaintially better

It's a desktop, but i won't have enough money to get a graphics card for a while, so i wanna make the most of this

Then no it is what it is the ddr3 ram in your computer can not be used to compensate for vram.

The ram is used as vram. Apus do not have any dedicated. Just go check in bios if there is any setting. It should be showing the shared amount with that amount in dxdiag but it's not. In dxdiag, there is a button that says "save all information" click that and it should break down how much is allocated and how much is shared.

Yep and according to someone i just asked it can change its allocation it can be changed from the bios all the way to 512mb.

Some mobos go up to 2gb. I tried looking at your mobo manual but didn't see any setting.

That's showing a dxdiag bug, which is actually common. Dedicated would be how much is allocated by the bios so it is set to 748mb.
