Eizo FG2421 + which GPU?

Just a quick question:

Will I need a gtx780 to get the most out of an Eizo FG2421? I had intended to get the 770, especially since the Eizo is 1080p...

just wanted to get a round of opinions before i buy.

No. a gtx 770 is capable of running games at 1080p 60+ When LCD shutter glasses are used for stereo 3D displays, the effective refresh rate is halved, because each eye needs a separate picture. For this reason, it is usually recommended to use a display capable of at least 120 Hz, because divided in half this rate is again 60 Hz. Higher refresh rates result in greater image stability And will be able to reduce screen-tearing at higher framerates with v-sync.
