B75-D3H with graphic card Zotac 210 synergyedition 1 GB purchased, system crashes too often

Gigabyte B75-D3H + ZOTAC NVIDIA GeForce GT210 1 GB DDR3 Graphics Card + I3 3220 (4000 graphics) + 4GB Dynet 1333 mhz. RAM

When trying to install windows 8.1 or 8 or any OS it gives an error, "Your PC ran in to problem and system restarts"

Please suggest if this is problem with the Graphic card incompatibility or the OS incompatibility.
I took out the card and installed the OS, system works fine. Also would like to know if it is graphic card incompatibility then suggest me the better graphic card and i have two slots for graphics on board, PCI X16 and X4, what are these and totally confused, Please assist!

Hey Stig, Thanks for this valuable information, but I just need better processing for graphics, could you suggest me a better graphics for this motherboard which is better than internal graphics and best to use with it. Also confused with PCIE 16 X and PCIE 4X, how do i come to know which slot should i put a graphic card as both the slots are of same size and frame. How do i come to know a graphic card is 16 X compatible or 4 X compatible. I found nothing on the graphic card manual.
Also, need to know, now that i have purchased this graphic card, which system can i put it to use as i dont think that the vendor would take it back. i have an old system core 2 duo 2.93 Ghz and g31 board and also one more core 2 duo 2.2 ghz with 945 board, whether this graphic card will improve the performance of any of these systems.
