AMD a10 6800K DX12 COMPATIBILITY?

i have a 10 6800k im not so sure it will support dx12 as AMD have recently said they will support all graphics cards with G.C.N but as far as i can tell the hd 8670 is not GCN its previous architceture so i feel no it wont hope im wrong ,what i want to know is will dx 12 work if i get a new dedicated card will cpu of the 6800k work ok?
