Hi all,
I've heard that custom desktop computers are infinitely much better than prebuilt ones but i have no experience and i want to make sure that I don't get incompatible parts and that i'm getting good parts.

I've heard that there are lots of people willing to completely design a computer for you and I would be most appreciative if someone could. I have approximately 900 dollars to spend, I was thinking a full tower case for it but that's about all i've got. I'm looking for a powerfull gaming computer that is stable and won't randomly die on me.

If anyone could help or even give me some pointers, anything is helpfull, thanks.

Hey thanks for the fast response.
So this will be able to play new games with good graphics (i don't need ultra but i would appreciate nice graphics)? Another thing i'm curious about, overtime when parts get outdated how do i know which parts i can use as replacements?

Yes, with the GTX 760 you should be able to run most games smoothly on high graphics. If you want ultra, antialiasing, and 60fps, you would need something more expensive, but that's a good card for your budget. Computer parts are pretty standard, so you should be able to upgrade with most new intel processors and nvidia gpus. That's one of the best gaming processors available at the moment, so you shouldn't have to replace that too soon, but I would suggest upgrading the GPU when you have the money. That motherboard supports SLI, so you should get a second identical GPU later on when they're cheaper and/or you have more cash.

Edit: Plus, if you have any question about compatibility when you're upgrading, just ask, I'm sure somebody here would be glad to help.

Ok so suppose that I had more money to spend on my computer. 1500 and 2100 dollars respectively (as in different price ranges, not sure which yet). So mainly I was just wondering if anyone had any builds for these price ranges that are nice, sturdy (especially for these higher price ranges i really can't have a computer that will die on me any time soon) and honestly preferably cool looking.

Thanks in advance!
