I am planning a new build, must be AMD CPU and five year futureproof (8 core required for streaming and hyper v server).

I am looking at this build: http://uk.pcpartpicker.com/p/3eXIE

want to run all the latest games, max settings on a single 1080p monitor (there will be another monitor an a TV doing things too)

must be able to achieve minimum of 60 fps stable. I just want to know for sure that this will be fine before I buy, and don't want to be told that it's overkill or i should get intel, just want my specific questions answered.

Changed your power supply , the RM series uses poor capacitors.
Rest of build looks awesome , nice choices!!!!!!!!!!!!

Cf 290x is probably an overkill for 1080p. Also, you would get bottlenecked by fx processor. I would recommend a i7 4770k and one 290x and that will last you a very long time (I know you said not to, but you spending a lot and I don't want you to be mis informed) . And yes, you should be able to max everything ever made in 1080p.

Today's graphics fab process(28nm) dates to 2011 and is on it's way out. We're in a transition period to the next generation of GPU's. The Radeon 290X will be ewaste long before 2019. Heck, it likely won't even be desirable by the end of this year. Early Nvidia Maxwell GPU's are serving up double the performance at half the wattage. With the future Radeon R9-3XX's sure to offer similar performance.

And as mentioned by ak47jar3d, the FX 8350 is a known bottleneck. It's an old CPU from 2012 and was weak even at launch. Tom's tested it back in the day with Radeon 7970's in crossfire, vs. an i7:

You can't base a decision on core count. Corporations lie to sell products. You have to do your "homework" and look at benchmarks.
...maybe you would understand a car engine anagogy better. Think of the 8350 as a V8.
...cool ya? except it only has about 150 horsepower, gutless!

Great car analogy wdmfiber! V8 engines are still good though :(

It should still be able to run the latest games on max settings though.
