Are there any z87 motherboards that support 3 way SLI?

I'm going to get an Asus Maximus VI Hero, but i want to know if there are any z87 motherboards that support 3-way SLI, all I can find are 3 way Crossfire and 2 way SLI. Is there a reason behind it? why are crossfires getting 3way and nvidia only gets only 2 way? I know there are x79 broads that get them but no z87.

Thanks, would you recommend the asus z87 ws? since its the cheapest? or do you think the hero is just fine. I just want that headroom for the future, just in case i want to go with 3-4 way nvidia cards.
