Which probably means that something is failing...only thing I can think about is the PSU. No error anything just *zip* black screen and it reboots.

GFX card is a half-a-year old GTX660Ti

Anything else I should check?

Thanks in advance for any help!

Solution

I would not use the PC anymore until you get a better PSU. Maybe go for XFX 550W or seasonic equivalent. 650W is good for headroom for future upgrades.

Mobo: ASUS M5A99FX Pro R2.0
PSU: No name DTK Combat Power Supply 750W crap, about 4 years old.

I know, I know you shouldn't buy no name PSU's...but I was short on money back then and it dids job admirably for the past 4 years.

Thanks man, I'll buy a new PSU tomorrow then, even if turns out not to be the solution it's long overdue anyway.

I'll let you know if it worked or not tomorrow.
