I'm trying to figure out if the ram controller inside i5s can use faster than 1600mhz ram with a Z87 motherboard.
If it seems strange, well, it isn't. I'm building a console pc fitting a Nintendo NES with the 160xt picopsu, I'm figuring out if going to 1600 cl9 1.35v vlp (crucial) or 1600 cl7 1.5v (gskill) normal profile (GTX trident removed). At the moment I'm preferring low profiles, I've seen some mushkin 2400mhz cl 11 or cl10 and wondering if haswell chips can use them to full speed.
H87 ITX wifi or Z87 ITX wifi from gigabyte are the ones available for me.
