Hello peeps,

I am purchasing a new monitor in a few days for WoD and was wondering whether or I will see a big difference coming from a TV to a 'gaming' monitor.

This is the TV: http://www.sharp.co.uk/cps/rde/xchg/gb/hs.xsl/-/html/pr... http://www.amazon.co.uk/Sharp-LC22D12E-22-inch-Widescre...
Monitor: http://www.amazon.co.uk/BenQ-GL2450HM-Widescreen-Multim...

Will I see much of a difference In picture quality overall? (of course it will be better but I want too know if I can save myself £115).

Thanks

Yes. Pixel density becomes pretty important for pc monitor and few TV have enough to match pc monitor. The reason being that TV are not meant to be stared at less than a couple of feet and pc monitor are the complete opposite. To paraphrase, get pc monitor if you can.

I'd personally prefer the BenQ GL2450HM as I know some 'gamers' who use it. Of course you will see a difference in picture quality like ak47jar3d explained though.
