The first one is better, but neither one is very good. What games do you plan to play with it? I tend to recommend ASUS because their coolers are better, but in the case of a small card like this it doesn't matter too much.

Firstly, don't be a victim of the gigabyte myth. The vram does matter but not with these low end cards with ddr3 memory and a 64/128 bit bus.....And among those cards the sparkle gt 630 is by far the superior card. It almost twice as fast as the EVGA gt 610.

But beware none of these cards are great for gaming @ 1080p. Though you could play some games @ 768p with low-mid settings...

Why does it need to be PCI-e 2.0? The PCI-e specs are backwards compatible, its just that a 3.0 card would be limited to whatever spec your motherboard slot it.

Of those 2 cards though, the 630 is the more powerful. I doubt those cards could ever take advantage of 2gb though, more of a marketing gimmick.

Since guys before me answered your question directly, I'll just offer you an a friendly advice, save a 30$ more and buy yourself a decent GPU if you want to play games, trust me you will regret if you buy this gpu. For example for 100$ you can get AMD HD 7770 which is (based on online benchmarks) 50% better, and 50% is huge in gaming. Spend you money wisely
