Need a New motherboard

You need a board with a LGA 1155 socket. Another board might not fit. Sometimes the cooler is connected to the case with HP, Dell and others. The CPU socket might not be in the same place as the original board.

On second thought, you probably could dismantle the original cooler from the case and purchase a new cooler if you have to.

Yup. You should look for a cooler that fits a LGA 1155 socket.

That rosewell cooler is not far from what was in that HP comp. And for a really small case it will fit.

Dude. Just go for a new system. I highly recommend it. You are running a low power core. It only over-clocks at 3 ghz. I would recommend salvaging and selling the parts and buying a new system. Go for an hand made system. LGA 2011 with a ram max at, at least 32 gb. That is just me though. I have no idea what you do with the system. If you give me more info I can help. And just for perspective here is my system.

Intel i7 quad core. 4 ghz. Over clocks at 4.5 ghz.
128 gb ram.
Radeon 5700 series. Total of 6 gb of DDR5 ram along with the 2gb card.
