Hi everyone,

First, you need to know that i'm a big noob in electronics. I'm whiling to buy a new computer that i'll use mostly for gaming ( Thief, Battlefield 4, Titanfall, Rome 2, DoTA ) and sometimes, watch movies. I have around 900-1300 to spend on this new computer. This includes:

- The tower
- The monitor
- The keyboard
- The mouse

I'd my computer like to be:

- Able to do Crossfire/ SLi in the future
- Silencious
- Small (atx)

If possible, try to includes an SSD. I plan to build it myself. Finally, try to make the components match together. This is what a friend think i should buy:

- I7 4770k
- Msi b85 gaming
- h100 watercooling
- gtx 660
- 520w advance
- Kingston hyperx 4x4 gb
- 3tb hhd
- 64 gb sandisk SSD
- bitfenix shinobi

Have good day and thank you for answering.

Thank you for your answer but i can't afford this. My budget includes the screen, the mouse and the keyboard. Can you make something cheaper?

We can save more if you do not plan on overclocking. BTW the screen is on sale for the next 8 hours only.

Won't the graphics cards 2gb of Vram limitate the potential of the graphic card if i go for SLi?

It will depend on your monitor set up.
2 GB will be a problem if you plan on doing 3 x 1080p monitors. However, 2 GB will not be an issue otherwise.

Okay, thanks a lot.
But i have a last question, would you recommend the h60i ? Because it looks pretty sick and i can have it at a great price. Is it worth the ten more dollars?

It's totally up to you.
There is not much performance difference, and one is air cooler the other is liquid, I'm sure you know the risk when comparing both. Aesthetic is something that I can't comment on.

Just one last thing, do you think i should get a r9 270x and buy a better screen/keyboard/mouse or get an earlier crossfire?

The monitor is amazing, and it's going away in 5 hours.

I would stick with GTX 770 and purchase a better keyboard/mouse later on. It costs more to upgrade a GPU than to upgrade keyboard/mouse.

SLI isn't a bad option if you're on a budget when you want to upgrade. Or you can save up that money for even bigger upgrade in the future.
Keep in mind that triple GPU or beyond suffers serious optimization issue.
