For thermal compound I used about a grain of rice size application. I checked my cpu and nothing is leaking or anything. I did the middle dot.

Just a little over 12 hours ago I used the Arctic Silver 5 with my EVO 212 Cooler and just played 3 games of League of Legends. In that picture can you tell me if these temps are too high?

I understand Arctic Silver 5 has a 200 hour break in period and I didn't tint my heatsink or cpu. Please someone say my temps are ok.

I'm inexceperienced with that cooler wether your temperatuers should be lower or not.
But they are not to high at all.
If you peak at 72c it's just fine, but overall temperature should not go above 62 when stressing it.

take off you heat sink and look and make sure the thermal paste spread correctly i always put a pea size then put a zip lock bag on my finger and spread it evenly till i can barley see lettering on the processor and then i wipe the edges off a little bit

This was taken an hour after the last screen shot, why does the TMPIN2 still read 128C?

And I use Arctic Silver 5 it says for my CPU to do the middle dot, It says "Do NOT spread thermal compound over cpu"

Okay, so rice sized grain in middle and even it out over whole cpu?

thats what i do make a thin layer like i said i do it and cover the while cpu and barely see the lettering then i wipe the edge off a little bit with a paper towel, dont touch with your bare fingers the oils and dead skin can cause a overheat

114c doesn't sound right, thermal throttling or thermal shutdown should of kicked in well before that temp. What bios version are you using? updating might fix that. Could also be that the cpu is not quite seated in the socket properly.

I get the exact same temp on TMPIN2, i would just ignore that to be honest.

There is no right or wrong way for applying thermal paste, ive tried a few ways of applying it (pea, rice and pre-spreading it) and found no real temp difference, maybe a degree or 2.
I will say though arctic silver is quite old now and generally not recommended any more, i suggest using arctic cooling mx-4, noctua nt-h1 or even a paste from gelid.
