I just finished building my first PC. I went to turn it on and all I got was a green light on the MB. No fans spinning, no other lights, etc. What could it be?

Specs:
CPU: AMD FX-6300
PSU: SeaSonic M1211 620M Bronze
MB: ASUS M5A97
GPU: MSI GTX 650 Ti
Case: NZXT Tempest 410
HDD: Seagate Barracude 1TB

Solution
Have you connected the power switch from the case to the header of the motherboard.
Are they on the right two pins that say PS. ?

The header should have

PS : power switch
Rs : Reset switch.
PL power Led : for led on case if one exists.
HD led : Led display on the case for hard drive activity.

No connection from switch to header then it wont turn on.
Or you have bridged the wrong two pins on the header of the board for where the switch connects to.

Led and switches header, bottom of the board between the blue usb blocks and white sata ports.

After checking if all the switches are in the right place and led lights, connected from the case to the motherboard header for them.

You need to check that you have also connected the eight...
Well the green light means that the motherboard is working. The green light shows that the motherboard is receiving power and is ready to work. It doesn't really show why your computer is not turning on. The motherboard should have came with a small speaker. Plug in the speaker and try turning on the computer. If it doesn't work, then it should release some beeps and you can tell what is wrong based on the amount of beeps.

I've searched all my boxes, bags, etc. I didn't see a speaker. Could I just hook up normal speakers?

I didn't get that. I only recieved the board, manual, CD, and two SATA data cables. I guess Amazon forgot to pack it or something. I guess I'll buy everything from Newegg from now on.

You need to check that you have also connected the eight pin power block from the PSU to the board. The connector on the board is located at the top edge in blue where the last blue colored heat sink is on the board.

Failure to connect this will result in the board not powering up when the power switch on the front of the case is pressed.

That was the problem! I had the switches turned sideways. Thank you so much!
