I might be opening up a can of worms here, but here goes!

I am looking at Nvidia GPU's and have used EVGA quite a bit in the past(mostly due to the now non-existent life-time warranties). So, that being said. Which brand of GPU would you consider the best for game play.(I'm looking at the 780 class).

I would choose PNY any day, but if you have no choice for PNY go with asus.

The MSI does state they use military grade components, like solid caps....the EVGA claims to have superior cooling for overclocking....but so does the MSI.....only difference I see is the solid caps on the MSI and the 3 display support on the EVGA. The only PNY I see doesn't seem to have the cooling capacity of the others...only a single fan.

If you care about low noise levels, the n780 TF is unmatched in its balance of cooling, noise, and power.

Not too worried about noise levels. This will be my "for fun" system in my other room. I already have a pretty decent media center style computer in my bedroom using an MSI 550ti. That card is an MSI and I'm pretty impressed with it's performance for the price. It's the reason I'm even considering anything other than EVGA or Asus....due to previous experience..

Considering how similar these cards are....the next sale might be the deciding factor...I just can't seem to make up my mind. They all seem to have their own set of perks, and I'm probably not going to hardcore overclock until I can afford a 780GTX.Though this will make a less expensive testing ground. Next, a monitor worthy of these new powerhouses. :)

Asus GTX780 DirectCU II OC
https://www.asus.com/Graphics_Cards/GTX780DC23GD5/

I love the performance of it on my dual 1080p set-up.

I have a Mid-Tower ATX case with an additional fan (140mm @ 700rpm) blowing on the GPU and i am getting these temps (@ stock):
Idle: 25 Degrees Celcius.
Load: 60 ~ 65 Degrees Celcius.
Full Load: 70 ~ 75 Degrees Celcius.

I also never hear it.
