Keeping it short. Grabbing a 780 upgrading my 7850. Getting a fantastic price for it so not worried about it being overkill atm (310£, no box/freebies, warranty, UK store). 650w OCZ ZS 80+ PSU. 8gb Corsair Vengeance RAM. i5 760 @ 4ghz with a Coolermaster 212. Playing and recording Arma 3/DayZ @ 1080p and stuff like Star Citizen/Division/ETC. Shadowplay will help with CPU hit and recording. Performance isn't terribly bad with my set up now.

Arma 3 benchmarks on techpowerup show a massive increase from my card to a 780 (almost 50%!) compared to minor increases with CPU benchmarks. Surprisingly comparing a i3 3220 @ 3.3ghz to a 4770k @ 4.5 ghz with a Titan...10 FPS difference. Other benchmarks show a OC'd 760 @ 3.5 ghz fairs well against a stock 4670k. I come to you CPU gods for advice as I've researched every single link/forum post, period. Some say wait for 5670k etc, some say they too upgraded from my chip and noticed minimal differences. Others say ''WTF, UPGRADE!''.

After my 780 + other purchases (hdd's) I have 350-400gbp left. Debating on..

i5 4670k / mobo for 300, 4770k mobo for 370 or a new Asus VG248QE 144hz monitor for 250 (gaming @ 60hz, monitor also has some dead pixels..plus 2 x monitors will be handy) The rest left will be spent on RAM, new Chair :)D), SSD possibly.

Help PLZ.

This is pretty much my thoughts, and you summed it up perfectly.

I think I'm gonna go with the Asus VG248QE 144hz monitor instead as I think I'll get a much better boost from the 780 especially with Shadowplay taking some of burden off my CPU. Plus my monitor is 60hz, and has some dead pixels which bother me.
