Asus x79 deluxe board 3.0 PCIE,Gigabyte 770 GTX OC 3.0 PCIE,Intel I7- 4820K CPU 3.0 PCIE ready,Why does gpuz say your graphic card says it supports PCI Express x16 version 2.0?Its at 2.0 x 16 so it says,and Nvidia says its second generation,and yes it works fine......lol,what wrong with this picture..
just looking for a correct answer....thx much.Oh yes its in the right slot,but if i put it in the x4 slot it does says 3.0 on gpuz .........Asus and gigabyte both bite..gigabyte says its a asus issue that they have tested the card on x79's and are 3.0 ....same thing what asus says lol.6 series cards had to use a patch to run 3.0 with nvidia saying they cant get that with their drivers,so im wondering if its the same thing with the newer cards..owell.oh also gigabyte said to stress test it to see if it will read 3.0 under benchmark which i did and still the same reading..Hmmmmmmmwill keep trying.
