Its hums for a few seconds and goes away just curious if I should worry, first time hearing it and have had it for a month

As long as your machine is running okay, I wouldn't worry about it too much. I'd suspect offhand it is a coil and noise from a coil is not an problem issue. Coil whine is caused by a manufacturing 'defect' which has no effect on the coil's operation, just makes noise (it shouldn't make noise in an ideal world)
