What should I do with this graphics card?

So basically I looked at my computer and said okay what is a graphics card that uses under 460W. I found the Zotac GTX 660 so I went ahead and bought it. Days later it arrives, I do some more research AFTER I purchase it. Now I find out that maybe there isn't enough 12v rails or something like that and that this Zotac can fry my pc. Right now I am not sure if I should return the card, I really wanted an upgrade from my GT 640 but I think my chances are ruined. Can I install it?

The documentation shows which power supply I have.
I got a prebuilt pc because it was a pretty good deal. I got 32gb of memory (too much but still it was already bundled) and i7 4770.

Please help if you can!

this documentation doesnt have the information on the 12v rail. could you look inside your pc it should be on the power supply
it may have more then 1 rail but it will look like 12v rail~20a
just copy down what it says and post here. it may be inside a bar graph

also verify that your psu has a 6 pin pcie connector cable for your card

That is one of the troubles I was having, when I was inside last time I couldn't find the pin pcie connector so I wasn't sure if it had one or if I had to look for it. That may be a problem but when I contacted HP they said the power supply would work with the OEM 760 1.5gb, doesn't that require a 6pin connector? Thanks for your quick reply I will try to post a picture tommarow.

yea that is strange because i sure wouldnt recommend running a 760 on a 450w. the oem 760's take 2 6pin pcie's i believe
if you want a quick fix you could return the 660 and get a 750 ti. no 6 pin connector the card is 65w and it has performance about the same as a 660.
if not you will need to verify yourself if it has one or two 6 pin pcie connectors and get the 12v rail info
your cpu is 84w
mobo/mem should be around 60w
and a 660 is 140w (nvidias site)
this is 23.66a so you will want to verify that it is larger than this. or you can ditch the headache and get the 750 ti
here is its perfomance

That is for that edition card the standard 750 ti would be nice if it had those benchmarks. A limitation that is keeping me from buying that one is the length at which the card is, I will be returning the 660 and I would want to buy that 759 but there is not enuf space I don't think :(

True but a 660 can do ultra around 45 does which what I was kinda aiming for and right now the 640 runs it at about 22 GPS high so idkk if it's worth spending almost same as the 660 for a lot worse ill do more research
