I had to restore my system today and when I did my extra HDD that I was using for Storage wasn't there. So I started looking to see if it was there under device manager and it was but in other device so I went in to BIOS and it wasn't showing up. Is there anything I can do to get it working again?

If it is connected properly to your motherboard then go into your partition manager. Start>Search "partition">Create and format hard disk partitions. If your Hard drive is listed here as unallocated, then all you have to do is partition it.

As I said it's not showing up under disk drives. Its showing that its under other devices.

Here is a link to a screen shot so you can see.

I'm running into this problem as well.

Initially the HDD was listed as a disk drive. I was able to partition the drive and restart. After restarting the drive was no longer listed as a disk drive but instead listed under Other devices like you have posted. Drive is still listed in BIOS.
