Hi everyone!

I'm planning on building a new gaming system, which I shall detail below, and I am not intending to do any overclocking. I was told by the salesman at the computer shop I go to that I should get a liquid cooler for my CPU. As I don't intend to overclock my CPU (or anything else for that matter), is it really worth spending the extra (roughly) $100? My assumption is that intel wouldn't provide stock coolers that are going to fail. Any other comments about my rig would also be appreciated!

CPU: intel i7 4770K
Mobo: Gigabyte G1 Sniper M5
RAM: 16gb (2x8gb) Corsair vengeance pro 1600mhz C9
PSU: Cooler Master V series 1000W 80+ Gold
SSD: Samsung Evo 250GB
HD: Western Digital black 2TB
Case: Cooler Master Centurion 6
Graphics Card: Undecided. I'll use my current gtx660, and wait till UT4 engine / Maxwell cards come out and then make my decision (but it will be top of the line, with the potential to SLI in the future). I do not currently plan to upgrade my monitor (1920x1200).

The liquid cooler that he recommended to me was the Corsair H60SE.

Thanks in advance for your help!

No, you won't need liquid cooling if you don't overclock. For the same reason, you don't need the k-version of the processor and a Z87 motherboard.
Also, 8GB of ram is going to be sufficient for gaming, only get 16 if you're rendering video clips.
