Hey guys I have been asking around the past few weeks and just wanted to be really certain that the decision i am making is the right choice. Most likely going to have to get a new case and psu since my psu is crap and case will might not fit for the gpu's choice. The gpu i have been thinking about is the GTX 770 but is mostly in the range of GTX 750ti, 760, 770, and 780 if it is abosuletly worth the jump over from 770 to 780. My budget is tight and if i choose something like a 780 i really will not upgrade in a very very long time. I game at 1080p and maybe switch to 120hz 1080p gaming this fall but prob not. The games i am looking to play right now is Titanfall, Southpark, Elder scrolls, dark souls, etc. I am looking to play at the quality of BF4 in High/Ultra 60+ fps. The computer i have is basically a pre built. it is called the Ideacentre K320 (57125303). So yeah, I am honestly only want to change the psu and case if i must and not motherboard or CPU so i am looking for the best gpu that will do well with my PC without any bottle necking or risks. P.S. my motherboard is not OC and i do not want to SLI. Also, I did not pick any AMDs but if you are really sure that there is a amd gpu that i should get over gtx for my pc then let me know.

Here are my pc specs.
I7 870 Processor
Radeon HD 5570
8G RAM
L-IIBXM v4 motherboard
280watts psu

Solution
i think with your cpu and resolution a 770 would be optimal

Solution
I would recommend 770. I would not expect bottleneck to happen with your processor with 770. Also, it would make sense to get gtx 780 for an 120hz screen. If that is the plan and you can afford it, go for gtx 780. With 770, you max out TF and BF4 no problem in 1080p.

Thanks for the response fellas i can see that the gtx 770 is the most favorable choice. The issue was just cause of 2GB ram and if i buy a 4gb 770 i kinda of rather just go wit the 780 which is why i was confuse which is the better choice.

I was thinking of NZXT H440 or R4 Refine case with http://www.amazon.com/Rosewill-Certified-Power-Supply-CAPSTONE-650-M/dp/B00822BTLC/?tag=logicaincrem-20 550 or even 750 watts since the price difference is about $30 only?

its up to you if you want more overhead go with the 750 and you can always keep it for build upgrades later down the road. both are good case selections but if it were me i like how clean the 440 looks and i hear cable management is a dream.

i listed the 2gb version, you only need 4gb if you use resolutions above 1080p, 3d modeling or high end video editing, heavy game modding or triple monitor setups. if this doesnt apply to you stick with the 2gb version
