So we had an internet outage a few days ago. I am able to connect to my wireless internet. It says that the connection is up and running. However, I am unable to browse or do anything. Any ideas what may be the issue? It was working fine prior to the outage.

It is entirely possible to have an excellent wireless signal yet still not have internet access as the two are separate functions of your router.
Try restarting your router by unplugging it from mains supply then plug it back in (if router has on/off button that will do instead).
Wait until all the router lights show "okay" before trying to access the internet.
