Hi guys,

My GPU cooler has developed an annoying (vibration) noise @ 60-70% fan speed.

Is this a case for manufacturers warranty?

Second question: Is a Arctic cooling Accelero Xtreme II a viable alternative
(It would cost me 10 Eur more than sending the card in for a warranty check)

Third and last: I am planning to build a CPU Water cooling loop - problem ist I can't find a water block for this card and the only one I found was a GPU water block that does not cover the VRMs - would this be viable with only passive VRM heat sinks?

Thanks!

My Specs:

My Specs:

Mobo Asrock Z77 Extreme 4
CPU Intel i5 3570k OC @ 4.2 ghz
CPU cooler Thermaltake Contac 39
RAM Corsair Vengeance 2 x 4GB DDR3-1600 CL9 (OC to 1866)
GPU MSI R9 270 Gaming (GPU OC to 1110 Mhz)
PSU BE QUIET! 530 Watt 80Plus Bronze
CASE Silverstone PS06 (Positive Airflow 3x120mm 1x180mm)
Aftermarket CPU Cooler Thermaltake Contac 39

(GPU fans issue) get a replacement card or get it fixed at your local shop, they will tell you what can be done and what cant be done. the main reason for noisy gpu's is either your playing a game that uses the card to its limit or its a bad choice of card. or in some cases, make sure the card is fully in the slot, you should hear a click sound. like when you connect your 24pin in. just take it out and put it back in that could also help

and i dont know anything about liquid cooling, sorry.

Thank you for the reply!

I checked the card with varying fan speeds, and it is just one of the 2 fans that gets loud. and it is just the 60-70% range.
While gaming, even with 99% GPU load, the fan goes only up to 68%, and the card sits firmly in its slot.

So i guess ill take it to the shop and see if they can help me there.

Ty again for the advice
