the 755m is an option you have to make sure the one you grab has it, as for a difference yes a great deal especially if your gaming or using it for cad, etc.

Well you may want to wait a couple of week as the Nvidia 800 series was released and is starting to replace the 700 series cards in the gaming laptops. MSI, Asus and Alienware have offered the new cards. Also the price will go done for the laptops with 700 series cards. One key technology in the new 800 series is called battery booster which Nvidia says you can get up to 2X the battery life.

I wasn't saying change model or brands. I was saying wait till the Y510 ships with the 800 series. The 800 series has the Battery booster technology that the 700 series doesn't.

If you are open to other brands i suggest the
Sager NP7358 (Clevo W350SS)

http://www.xoticpc.com/sager-np7358-clevo-w350ss-eta-ma...

i7-4700MQ
GTX 860M GDDR5 2.0gb (This one has the newest kepler core this GPU is better than a 765m and a bit slower than 770m)

$988.43 if you pay in cash

I was also set on the y510p was gonna get the 755m sli option started researching about it and found out that some of the unit runs relatively hot especially the second GPU which is in the ultrabay

This is the one you want.

You don't need to wait on a new model to come out. The Y510p is still the best bang for the buck and it's going to be for quite some time. The new laptops that have been coming out are considerably more expensive and the Y510p can still play ball with the best of them.
