Hello,
As I stated in the topic, I have a weird "display driver has stopped working" issue while playing games in random times so that my game doesn't respond anymore.
My GPU is Sapphire Toxic R9 280X with default clocks (1150/6400)(13.2 drivers installed) and Yes, I have searched through the internet to solve this issue, however, I have not found any answers.
Today I stress tested my PC by having both prime95 and furmark on for 30 minutes to see does it crash incase the problem was my GPU being faulty or my CPU giving up as it is overclocked to 4Ghz. (volts set to 1.200)
During the test I had also RAM usage set to ~13GB out of 16GB and I didn't crash,
my temperatures after the 30 minutes were 75-79'C for GPU and ~80'C for CPU
Rest of my Specs are:
Motherboard: Asus P8Z77-V - Also has the newest BIOS from ASUS site.
CPU: Ivy Bridge i5-3570k which is overclocked to 4Ghz with AXP-200 Cooler.
PSU: Seasonic M12II Bronze 850W
RAM: A-data 16GB Gaming Series
SSD: Samsung 256GB PRO
OS: Windows 7 with SP 1 which is only around 3 month's old install.
Newest crash dump file is this which happened today:
crash dump (mediafire)
So, does anyone have any explanation why do I crash when playing high end games like thief or COH2 but not when playing games like csgo/dota2? Or when I did the all-in stress test today? Also, this happens when I underclock my GPU to 1000/6000 from default being 1150/6400. I have also tried beta drivers but it's the same.
Please, if anyone has a solution for my problem, help a man out, thank you.
