GTA 4? Yes. I ran it on almost all high settings on a ATI HD2900 Pro 1GB and Core 2 Quad Q6600. It was at 1600x900 but the biggest thing GTA 4 needs is VRAM and at least a 3 core CPU. You might not be able to do say 1080p with maxed out AA but other settings probably will be.

Crysis 3? Not max. It will run maybe medium-high but in no way Ultra.

Both Medium Settings Because Crysis 3 Is A Very High GPU Intensive Game And GTA IV Is Very Badly Optimized For PC.
You Can Run GTA IV On High With That Specs But Its Very Badly Optimized So Mid For Both.
Hope This Helped .

I would not overclock your FX-4300 to those speeds unless your CPU cooler is up to snuff. Also, not all chips are created equal, so you may not see such high gains if you are unlucky.

You won't hit 5 or 6 GHz unless you have a very good CPU cooler, or a custom watercool loop.

Crysis 3 will be barely playable at Medium, as that's at 30FPS with a strong CPU. GTA4 would be more likely to go above medium because it is an older game. My old GTX 460 runs it just fine, so your HD7770 should have no problem.

People are playing Need for Speed Rivals and Assassin Black Flag at ultra settings @ 1440*900 resolution with R7 250 and this card is R7 250x= HD 7770 I don't how you guys comment without even testing these cards or seeing others reviews you can run both Crysis 3 and GTA IV on high settings @720p resolution but if you want to increase the resolution then you have to decrease settings like AA. I am planning myself to buy a new graphic card so I know how it performs you can play any new game at good fps @720p with this card good luck. Don't hear to anyone just try yourself and then comment :)

Some people arent in a position to try it themselves. They rely upon others experiences, thats why they ask. 1440x900 was a great resolution 8 years ago. I see you make no claims as to what their FPS was. If you are relying on youtube vids to make these claims, you should try it yourself as well. Cause anyone who takes youtube as the gospel truth, I have an ATM in your name in escrow, just waiting for the $500 to release it.

Haha, Saw many YouTube videos in which guys playing with there FRAPS fps displaying in the corner also benchmarks of card. I don't think 1440x900 is a very bad resolution not for a casual to mid gamer even some LCD has maximum resolution 1360x768. I just gave my opinion form my research that all new games can be run on high settings using this card @720P resolution even Tomshardware recommend this card for budget gaming.

When people say "high settings," I almost always assume the intention is 1080p. That's probably not the best assumption, but when you can get a 1080p for dirt cheap nowadays... It's not altogether an unsafe one.

True though, you can play the game at manageable framerates at sub-1080p resolution.

Like vrumor said - some people can't "Just try it themselves" and don't want to piss away money when they realize it doesn't work and they should have saved up for something better. Also, we do look at benchmarks before we make recommendations, but truth be told is, most benchmarks don't consider less than 1080p these days because it's easily the most common resolution on desktops these days.

Yeah, by that thinking, then everyone can run crysis 3 on ultra at 60fps.....at 640x480. 1080p is the standard and has been for a while now, so if someone wants to play on high settings, they need to be playing at 1080p. I'd rether play on medium settings at 1080p then at high settings at 720p.
