So I have dual monitor setup, as well as a TV that alternate to when I want to just watch stuff on my couch. With my old TV this worked perfectly -- when I plugged in the HDMI cord to my computer it would switch the display to my TV and my widescreen monitor (identified as monitor 2 in both cases). When I unplugged it, the display would switch back to my widescreen and my 4:3 monitor automatically.
After getting a new TV, this no longer works. When I plug the HDMI into the TV it works just as before, but when I switch back it only shows the display on the widescreen, and the 4:3 stays off until I switch it back in screen resolution settings. I have two dells and a vizio 60inch to work with. I know this should work automatically since it did before but I don't know how the new TV changed the way it worked.
And no, having all three display at once is not an option since my video card only takes two inputs at a time. Thanks in advance!
