FX 8320 temperature anomaly.

Hi!

I dont understand those temp monitors. In BIOS, its says that my CPU temp is around 60c at idle. But in HWmonitor, it stays around 25-30c and maxed to 45c with running a 3D application for 5 mins. Heres a screenshot too from HWmonitor: You see that something called TMPIN1 is around 60c. Is that my CPU? Also CPU is listed separately with much lower temps. What im missing?

did you overclock also that 13volts reading on the 12 volts line is a little bit out of range .

The BIOS reading is for the CPU socket and the HWMonitor CPU temps are for the cores.

Well if its the cpu socket, what would be normal temperature? I havent clocked anything. My rig runs at stock settings. I should have a decent psu too: http://www.chieftec.eu/en/psus/a-80-series/ctg-750c.html
13v at 12 range looks suspicious though.

i would contact them for a psu rma should not be over 12.5 on the 12 volts lines http://pcsupport.about.com/od/insidethepc/a/power-supply-voltage-tolerance.htm and the tmpin1 should be lower then the tmpin0 i sue this on the sensor part to compare my temp http://www.hwinfo.com/download.php

HWinfo doesnt give me 13v on 12v rail. I think its the software, not my psu. Look at my first post, updated.

that good and what is the auxiliary temp if it is on idle that to hot it could be a chipset issue on the motherboard let see if someone use the same settings couldgive us clue on this . also what kind of air flow do you have in this case .
