Too late to change power supply

I am getting a pc built by local store and they are using a cooler master extreme 2 power plus 625w unit. After reading reviews now i worry?

yep GET A NEW PSU serously chances are it will bet at most another 30-40$ unless your runing multiple gpus get a quality unit in the 500w range from one of hte following, corsair, seasonic, xfx, antec, evga

Why is it too late? That PSU is indeed bad. If it's possible, ask them to change it (They build PCs in their store so this PSU will be used in another build anyways).

CM does not make quality PSU.

PSU is always interchangeable, just have a budget and full specs, and we will give you suggestions.

ok guys. I just contacted store and was able to switch power supply out to a corsair RM650! I hope this is better!

I wish you would have gone with an Antec, XFX, or a SeaSonic PSU, but hopefully the Corsair RM650 will work without any problems. Good luck!
