I have several gpus (all HD Radeon 7950) connected to my motherboard and I figured out one of them is causing a boot loop with error 55 on the motherboard when it is connected. It is not the pci port as I tried with another computer.
I am wondering if it does come from the power supply but I tried connecting my power supply to another card and no issue.
Did you ever see this?
It looks very weird to me.
Here are my specs :
What is the PSU brand and specifications?
Corsair RM750 Gold
What mainboard model is it? What is the PSU brand and specifications?
MSI Z77A-GD65
Is the graphics card being used in a PCI-E 16X33 slot or a PCI-E 1X slot with a riser?
PCI-E 1X slot with a riser
The thing I do not understand is how a gpu can cause an error on the motherboard. Normally if the GPU is faulty it would just not be detected ... At least this is what I would expect.
